Our team has been hard at work refining and enhancing various aspects of the game. From water effects to lighting and foliage transparency, these updates aim to improve both visuals and gameplay. Here’s a summary of the latest developments:
Water Effects Overhaul
We’ve switched to a more lightweight system for the water effects, as seen in our desert map. Not only looks equally good, but has much less performance impact on clients. Laying down these foundations now allows for smoother future improvements and innovations.

Improved Foliage Transparency with Dithering

To enhance visibility during gameplay, we’ve introduced a dithering effect to foliage transparency. The first image shows how it looked before, while the second showcases the new effect in action.
Lighting Improvements in Testing

We’re currently testing new lighting enhancements, and here’s a sneak peek at what’s in the works! The left side shows the previous lighting, while the right side demonstrates the improvements.
Alongside these visual changes, our team has been working on refining gun and engine sounds, which will soon be ready to share in upcoming gameplay clips. In addition, we’ve been refining our freecam system and continuing work on server stability improvements. Progress is also being made on the Alpine Map, which we’ll showcase in an upcoming update.
These updates bring us one step closer to refining the game’s overall experience. Stay tuned for more progress reports, and let us know what you think of these changes!
