The Road to Launch: Our Development Roadmap

We've published our full development roadmap — everything on the way to launch, grouped by area, plus a clear look at what comes after. Here's how to read it.

Commanders,

You have asked us where the game is headed – so we are putting it on the table. Our development roadmap is now live, laying out everything we are working toward in one place, grouped by area and marked by status so you can see exactly where each feature stands.

Everything on the Road to Launch

The bulk of the roadmap is our road to launch – the work that has to land before release. We have grouped it into clear areas so it is easy to scan:

  • Client & Visuals – performance optimisation, the lighting upgrade, User Interface and UX, launcher updates.
  • Content – new vehicles, the game tutorial, and the in-game historical classifier.
  • Gameplay & Feel – vehicle physics, the vision system, the retrofit system, and battle re-join.
  • Economy & Progression – the web store, account management, and the full game economy.
  • Backend & Community – server tooling, diagnostics, in-game surveys, and platoon voice chat powered by Odin.

Every node carries a status – Deployed, In Development, Next Up or Planned – and a completion percentage, so the roadmap doubles as a progress tracker, not just a wish list.

Stretch Goals

A few features are things we really want to ship for launch but cannot promise yet – native Linux support, battle spectating, a clan system, and the missions & rewards system. They now live in their own clearly separated section of the roadmap, so it is always clear what is committed and what is aspirational.

After Launch

Launch is a milestone, not the finish line. Beyond it, the roadmap has a dedicated Post-Launch section – more maps, more tech trees, a long-term rework of existing vehicle models, and an expansion into the modern era (Ranks 11 and beyond). A clear Launch line on the roadmap separates what is coming before release from what comes after.

Plans evolve. The roadmap is a living document – priorities and dates can shift as development and your feedback move things around. We will keep it up to date.
