Last time, we talked about how this project took shape during pre-production. Today, we want to shine a spotlight on the people who have turned those initial ideas into something real. We believe that a passionate team makes all the difference when creating a game that stands out.

Team Structure and Expertise
Our crew is made up of researchers, artists, programmers, audio specialists, A producer, consultants and game designers, each bringing a unique set of skills and experiences to Steel Aces. Here is a quick look at some of the key roles:
- Programmers
- Handles, code base, networking, internal tooling, structure and performance benchmarks, essential, we could not be without you.
- Historical Research
- Focuses on collecting factual data about armoured warfare. From archived schematics to first-hand accounts, this person keeps us grounded in real-world references.
- Gameplay Designer
- Balances tank handling, penetration mechanics, and map flow. This role ensures the game is both true to its roots and enjoyable for players at different skill levels.
- 3D Art Specialists
- Aids translating historical data into high-fidelity tank models. This role adds visual depth to the experience and a balance between the researcher and gameplay needs and limits.
- Audio Engineer
- Works on everything from engine roars to shell impacts, capturing the raw power of tank warfare. The aim is to immerse players in each battle, whether they are rolling through urban landscapes or rugged countryside.
Collaboration and Workflow
We like to keep communication flowing, which means stand-ups, shared files, and frequent playtests and collaboration points throughout software and processes. Team members often jump into each other’s channels for feedback. By staying in sync, we can spot potential issues early and communicate pain points effectively to keep pushing Steel Aces forward without major delays or oversights.
Building a Supportive Culture
We encourage every team member to contribute ideas and feedback, not just in their domain, but across the entire project.
This open approach has led to some creative breakthroughs. When historians collaborate with artists or when gameplay designers chat with audio specialists, we often discover innovative ways to approach challenges.
There are always cross opportunities to enable smoother experiences with team members that won’t necessarily add to feature creeping into the project. Something we should always be mindful of is that we want things to scale well.
Outro
We’re incredibly proud of all team members, their drive and inspirations, every idea, design, and detail is shaped by their passion and expertise into this project.
